Dreamweaver, Wordpress, Flash. Everyone has a website, but few are truly art, and even fewer are utilized to their full potential. CGschool provides one of the best Internet training programs you will find anywhere on the planet.
Think you know Photoshop? We would love the opportunity to show you what you do not know. Fusion? PF Track? If you are working with animations and not using programs like these, you have only scratched the 3D surface of knowledge.
Do not just use programs like V-Ray and mental ray ... understand them. With the CGschool, learn what goes on behind the algorithms of these top render engines.
This course is different from most 3DATS courses in that it is designed for users of any experience level with AutoCAD. It is designed to teach a very specific way, and we think, highly efficient way of working with AutoCAD when used in combination with 3ds Max. It will be appropriate for users with no experience in AutoCAD, but will be equally useful for students who may have many years of experience in AutoCAD but have not used the program in the way illustrated in the course. In this course, the instructor will present a very specific and streamlined approach to the foundation of all 3D objects; the creation of 2D linework. We firmly believe that the approach demonstrated in this class provides the fastest, most efficient, and most flexible way to create the proper foundation to 3D objects. Unless you use a program like Revit to create construction drawings while simultaneously creating 3D geometry, you will not find a better way to start your 3D scene than using the methods discussed in this class. This course requires no experience in AutoCAD or any other 3D software. Files are provided in AutoCAD 2004.
Brian Smith began his 2D and 3D CAD studies in the early 90s and worked as an animation specialist in architectural, engineering, and landscaping firms in southwest Florida. He started his own company in 2001, specializing in the production of architectural animations and renderings, and a few years later teamed up with business partner Brian Zajac to cofound 3D Architectural Solutions (3DAS) in Sarasota, Florida.…[Read Bio ]
